Type-Oh! is go!
I’m really excited to announced that development on Type-Oh! is complete. The game is now available to be played on Facebook. Check it out and let me know what you think!
The Cleaner: Global Game Jam Game
This year I participated in the Global Game Jam! It was a lot of fun and a great way to meet other game developers in the area. We worked our asses off over the weekend to throw something together — I’ll share more thoughts on that later. In the meantime, I’d like to share with you the prototype we created. It’s titled The Cleaner.
Silverlight Game Source Code
Thought I would share the source code for my recent excursion into Silverlight. I haven’t done anything special here in terms of design, so just consider this as a good starter project for picking up the ABC’s of Silverlight game development. Anyway, I hope that you find this useful and if it’s missing something or you have any questions feel free to leave a comment!
You can get it here: Asteroids Source
P.S. Don’t forget about the Silversprite project. It’s a means to write your game using XNA and then deploy to both the browser and the Xbox/PC! The project is still pretty young but seems to be making progress. I think the most recent release of Silverlight 3 may have really opened up some things, too.
Asteroids Again: This Time in Silverlight
Hey everybody, I hope you’ve had a great Thanksgiving if you’re in the States or at least a good weekend. I’ve been working on a number of things lately, most recently I took a closer look at Microsoft’s Silverlight. After spending the past two days figuring out what XAML is and how to use it and Silverlight to make a game I’d like to present to you yet another take at Asteroids! Check it out and feel free to leave your high score in the comments, so far I’ve managed to get around 75,000 points.
